question about my ls-vtec

i have a full built ls-vtec . and when it is idiling it makes a "blub blub" best i can describe it .. it is not a backfire . it just sounds kinda weird coming out of the exhaust. it also does it if i ride a gear to slow down... is this normal?

are you tuned yet? Do you have a cat on your car...I believe my car does it. I cant remember cause it been 3months since it has been down
