Default Question about ECU

I am shortly going to drop a b16 motor into my car. i have purchased a PR3 ecu and wanted to check if it's good. i have been told that if the motor revs past 4500 with the ecu, it is good. my question is would i be able to temporarily swap the ecu into my LS integra and see if it revs past 4500 on the LS motor. i know its gonna probably throw some engine codes but will it cause any harm to anything on the car?

thanks

to test it . drive it around. it wil make no impact on anything and will not damage the car. yes the ECU should rev past 4k rpm and throw only 'typical' CEL codes (not just a solid LED being on at all times)

Thanks for the help. I think you helped me on my last post too. Much appreciated. Also, you do chipping right? If so I live in Oakville and would need you to chip my ecu if possible. Thanks
