Default Question about chipping

I have an automatic p28 ecu i was told if i chipped it, it would work in my manual civic is this true? I have a d15b 1990 civic dx hatch. Thanks in advance.

have the person that will chip the ECU convert it to manual trans. it will take a few minutes (pull two resistors and install a jumper)
if they understand chipping they will understand what needs to be done to do this.

you can use the auto ecu and it will work. but usually everyone just chips the ecu.

buy yourself a
solder gun
solder wire
snips

and start chipping it isnt hard to do...
