what's up...this question goes to anyone who is kind enough to offer advice/knowledge of experience with the aem system. i tried a search but no results and i tried searching random forums until i got tired. I've got a fully built b18c w/ future intentions of boosting. i recently purchased the AEM system for the time being and for turbo in the future. I figured that this system will utimatley the most efficient manner to compensate for what has been added to rhe motor. currently, i'm breaking in the motor while using the stock ecu. My question really directly applies to anyone in or has been in my situation. Can i saftelyor effeciently run my car wiith the base program supplied w/ the eception of setting my dist. timming and throttle? Is there anyone out there experiencing this or does somebody have a better map that would match my mods. I have spoke to AEM a couple of times but they were not all that helpful. thanks.
