question about aem cai and bypass valve.
can i use it with a bypass valve on rainy days and then take off the bypass valves on sunny days? what would i use to cover the gap where the cai was cut for the bypass valve.
you can if you want.
i just went to home depot , said i have 2, 3" air pipes i need to connect with a rubber link
cost like 3$ for the connector and 2 clamps.

thanks. my friend said, i can just install the bypass valve and connect the pipes all the way through the valve and on rainy days i can just loosen up the valve and pull apart a gap in the intake piping. is this a good idea?

yup! i would worry less about hydro locking if i knew that i made the gap so no water could get sucked in. that way would take less time too. thanks

yeah you can do that. I personally would have done it w/ a homemade cai that ustalizes 3 pice so in rainy days i can detach # 2 from #3 and stick an extra filter on then you'll have a regular DAI
