Default Quaife Question??

I have dismantled the S80 g/box from my Integra roadrace car. It is fitted with a quaife diff but is otherwise standard.
The plan was to install a 4.9 cwp.
All was going well until I tried to mount the replacement cwp to the diff housing.
The cw fitted to the quaife had a different internal dimension to both the std 4.4 and the 4.9 .but appears to be a standard part. [ the 4.9 has the same mounting dimensions as the 4.4]

My thoughts are that the quaife may have been made to fit an earlier model Honda box ie Y21
the crownwheels are the same size externally but differ internally
the std part internal dia =117mm the one fitted to the quaife =110
the mounting bolts pcd c to c std = 138 one fitted to quaife = 130.
ie the standard cw will not bolt up to the quaife

the quaife model no is QJ2 HAP [ nothing on the quaife web site]

can anyone enlighten me as to what model of g/box the quaife may have been built for and what box the crownwheel has come from.

I have installed my spare type r diff as a temporary solution but would like to get the quaife sorted and back in.
Any Ideas?????
