Q's spoon cams in b16a
Well it's real importent to tighten the cams gears before installation or whilel doing it so that you know that they are tight. If worried about slipping dont put them on or just check and tighten then everyonce in awhile. but i have never had mine slip and i have revd to 9800rpm HTH
be sure to buy good quality cam gears also. A friend of mine put crower stage II cams in his car and put it all pack together i don't know what kind of cam gears they were but the bolts backed themselves out of the gears and it started to go to 0 to -10 to +10 over and over. So he took it back home and tightened them down agian thought it would be ok and went back out for another test drive well the vavles bent and when they opened up it smacked the spark plug breaking the whole end of it off in the combustion chamber so he has a hell of a mess.
BTW it is a GSR in a 92si hatch. Without the cams this thing ran mid 8's all day long in the 1/8th. very strong running car well or was.
