Q on Dyno...
Most prefer a DynoJet because it reads SAE HP. I've heard from lots of people that the mustang dynos overrate engines, and you're getting inflated HP and Tq numbers. The ***** are expensive though. The tuner that I work with said he paid over 30K for his dynojet setup. (!)
Mustang and Dynapak dynos can put the car under load so you can do partial throttle tuning, etc. DynoJets do not operate in this fashion, so you do not have this type of tuning available. That being said, DynoJets are probably the most common type of dyno out there. Each manufacturer has a website with excellent information. Contact Jack (B18CXr) if you'd like more information related to Mustang dynos.

I'd say dynpack for the sole purpose of varying loads to tune more than just WOT maps for programmable EMS.

I think it's moreso that everyone and their mama has one or dyno's on one so it makes it easier to compare #'s.
I personally like the Dynapack also. Shawn Church on here as "C_A_T" owns one. You can contact him for more info.

i like the dyno jet simply because they are most common and your not so hardcore customers wont wonder why they pulled less than an equally equipped car they heard about on the net. for tuning however you cant go wrong with a dynapack. you can vary loads to tune part throttle maps easily and they are far for sensitve than dynojets. a dynapack with actually show a cylinder misfire in the power curve.
