I don't really know jack about D series.. I just got a D16 for $5, but it has a cracked valve. My civic has a perfectly fine D15, but i wouldn't mind an extra .1 liter under the hood.
By any chance, would it be possible to just use the D16 block, and use the D15 head? Will they bolt together? What will the compression be (about) - i want to eventually turbo the beast? What problems could I run into? Wiring?
D15B2 - from 1994 4dr Civic LX (where it's all going)
D16A6 - from (not sure) 88-91 Civic Hatch (unknown trim)
Any help appreciated. Of course, I did search HT for possible help.

Is the d15 head an 8 valve or 16 valve head? If it's a 16 valve head It will work.. If I was you I would fix the d16a6 head. It flow's better than the d15..
