Default pulling a D16Z6 motor from unknown car - need advice

I'm pulling a d16z6 this weekend from a junkyard. The car is already sitting on the ground without tires. I will be using their A-frame hoist. Will it be easier to go out the bottom or the top given these circumstances?

Can get the axle nuts off with it sitting on its hubs?

and last but not least, does the automatic shift linkage have a "b***h pin"\

Thanks in advance

Out the top is the best way IMO.
You will need to get it off the ground to pull the axels.
No b***h pin. 94

If it's auto you can just pull engine alone no need to pull axles or wheels

Just pull off crank pulley and it will give it enough room
Manual has a long shaft auto just has torque converter bolts that needs to be off

Thanks everyone. The motor was a bust. Got the head off and piston 1 was all chewed up. Looked like cylinder 1 was running lean too. I did grab the head for $40 though. So my search for a block will continue.
