I basically want to know what kind of problems people have encountered with it. Or positive notes on how it performs. Like wat kinds of mods are good for the motor itself to get the full potential out of the motor.

pros: its only a 1.8 liter, its got 200 hp, its pretty good on gas (compared to alot of them v8 guys), its hand built in japan, virtually compatible to any civic or integra, it comes with a port and polish from the factory, the trannys come with LSD, the cams are big, and its compression is high but no high enough to where you cant boost a stock one

con: its f*ckin expensive.....

hows that little run down for ya.....

Pros of ITR motor:
1. 200HP bone-stock.
2. In spite of the above, it actually responds well to further upgrades (i/h/e, cams, increased displacement, etc.)
3. Virtually indestructable
4. Great fuel economy
5. As stated before, compression is high enough for good cams, but not too high for pump gas
6. An easy swap. MUCH more simple than trying to get the same power from something else

Cons of ITR:
1. Price. Although you could easily spend just as much trying to extract the same power from a lesser motor
2. Thief magnet
