Default Proper removal of FITV...

What is the correct way to remove the FITV? I have a b18c, I have already removed it, just that the idle likes to stay around 2-3k now, until I rev it slightly. So I assume that I ran the lines wrong. I ran the line off of the IACV directly to the port on the water neck that exits to the radiator. Is that correct? I searched, but the threads were confusing. Thanks.

Im assuming that the FITV is the fast idle valve.. I removed mine and filled the holes in the TB with jb weld.. You can also fill the fast idle valve with jb weld and put it back on witch would do the same thing..

Coo, so what do you do with the coolant lines...my intake mani has no place for the line after it leaves the IACV, currently I have it running back to the water neck that returns water to the radiator.

Just do a complete bypass on both the fast idle and the iacv valve.. Run a hose from the start to the end so that you go around everything..

So, don't even run a hose to the IACV, from the back of the block to the throttle body ehh...cool.
