I hooked to the blue wire on the shock tower, black to the battery and red to the fuse box ignition. It comes on when it wants to. Help

 

Blue wire to the shock tower? Try the blue on your distributor, Red to the Ignition/fuse box, and black to you - battery terminal. Also check to see if you need to snip the orange/brown wires on the back of the shift light.

 

yeah on the honda's there is a blue wire above the drivers side shock tower that goes to nothing. I have the ground going to the battery and the red going to the ignition and both wires are cut. The light comes on when it supposed to. but when the car is idling at a light it just blinks. When your driving it's fine. HELP really frinkin annoying.
