Hi Im new to the fourm and so far its kick a$$. But anyway, i put a ACT clutch in my car(Xtreme pressure plate with 6 puck disc) and it wont down shift into third until the rpms drop and its sometimes hard to down shift into second. Other then that its fine. It up shifts like a champ( grabs like a ****). Any answers?

Rev matching is raising the rpms while downshifting, so they match what the rpms were at before you started changing gears.
so driving in 4th at 60mph say at 4000 rpm, clutch in a little gas to hit 4000rpm again while going into 3rd gear. let the clutch out and get on that gas.
I'm sure theres a way better example but i just simplified it, thats the basics of it. good luck

^^^ not quite, if your in fourth gear going at 4000rpms, and you shift down to third, assume your going to be at 6-6500rpm. So, while you push in the clutch and move the leaver from fourth to third, you simultaniously rev the engine from 4000rpm to 6-6500rpm and then you let out the clutch just as you reach the rpm you THINK you'll be at. Get to know your car. This helps by NOT slipping the clutch and puts less stress on your transmission!! Good to do.

BTW-this is where you'll really notice throttle response loss typical with a cai.

are you having any problems upshifting? If you took the slave cylinder off you could have air in the lines not allowing you to disengage/engage the clutch completely. My clutch had emotion break downs for like the first 300 miles, then it was fine. I'm guessing it just need to break in.
