Default Problems with CTR Rods in a b16a2

I am putting ctr pistons into my b16a and I decided on putting in ctr rods too so I won't have to mill the heads of my old rods and they are stronger. The rods I got are longer than my stock b16a rods. It looks like there won't be enough clearance for the pistons and I would rather just return them before I use them. I thought that the rods would be the same lenght sense b16a and b16b have the same stroke and same block height. The part number on the package was the right part number but the rods have p72 on the bottem of them which is the code for b18c so I think maybe they are gsr rods. Has anyone had this problem before, will the pistons have enough clearance or did they send me the wrong rods? Does any one have any info or pics of ctr rods? I've done a lot research and haven't been able to find much so anything would be great.

B16b deck height is 7mm taller than B16a.

The B16b uses a B18c block, b18c rods, b16a crank, and special pistons with a lowered wrist pin location. The pistons are the only "unique" part of the CTR motor.

No. B16B uses longer rods than a b18c, same rod cap because same journal width.
Also the crank is unique as well. So pistons, rods AND crank are different than
any other honda motor.

So sense I have the b16b pistons and rods I would have to get the b16b crank to get all of them to work or just use my stock b16a rods like I heard a lot of other people doing.

To use b16b rods you need a b16b Block or a b18 block. To use a b16a block you need a set of b16a rods

what you need:

b16a crank
b16a rods
ctr pistons

due to the width of the small end of the b16a rods, and the (smaller) size of the space in the pistons into which the rods need to fit, you'll either have to increase the gap in the pistons, or thin the small end of the b16a rods for them to work together. any competent machinist should be able to do this for a reasonable fee. it's been proven to work well (same goes for ls rods).
