Problems calibrating tps on gsr
I have ek with gsr swap. I changed it from obd1 to obd2a and added skunk2 intake manifold. Car ran fine when it was obd1. Now i get cel 7 and have a high idle. Figured must have bumped the tps when swapping out manifolds. I did the calibration procedures but I am getting 5.06V at closed throttle and 5.03V at wide open? When i turn the tps I get no change. Already replaced the tps with one from autozone and it does the same thing? Any ideas what it can be?
No. I had a jumper harness when it was obd1, car still has obd2a wiring so just plugged it in to the obd2a ecu. Only added ckf sensor and secondary o2

Only other thing I did was change the throttle body pulley to a non gsr so i can run the type r cable. But that seems to working fine as far as opening and closing the butterfly
double check your plugs to make sure they aren't mixed up. It has happened to me. I had the TPS sensor switched with the MAP sensor. haha.
unscrew the TPS and check it outside the throttle body to see if the voltage changes. If it doesn't you have either a wiring problem or bad ecu.
I have to wait until tomorrow but I'll try that. Now to check the wiring, the green wire I would be checking for continuity to the neg terminal on batt. And yellow should give me a reading of 5V right? And for the red wire I should check continuity to D1 pin?
Should be 5v reference on one, ground on another, and the other will be the signal which is what you want to test.
Since you say you're getting 5v that could be the 5v reference wire...it's not always the middle wire that's the signal voltage.
To confirm, unplug it and check for voltage again, obviously if that's the signal wire you should get nothing now.
Also, if that is the signal wire there's no way you should be getting 5v ...should be maybe 4.6 max

I always find it easiest to back probe these sensors when testing the voltage. Keep the connector hooked up and stick a small pin/needle into the back of the connector between the weather seal and the wire.

Its kind of hard to see but i cut a v out of it and bent it back down because i was only getting 50 percent at wide open

Already replaced the tps. When installing I'm making sure the pin on tps is going in between the slot on tb and turning tps a little to put in the bolts. The throttle pulley does open the butterfly fine don't see it getting stuck anywhere. Before I fixed the ground voltage didn't change at all when turning the tps now it does but no where near .45v range when closed
It's a craftsman 82400. Yeah I did, at closed throttle ranges from around 4.1-5.5 so I set it to 4.5v. At full open throttle it reads 1.122v. I tried adjusting it at full open to see if I could get it to .45v but it goes no lower than 1v
Before fixing the break in the ground wire, it would give me only 5.06v closed and 5.03v open and no change when adjusting the tps
This can also happen due to an improper ground, particularly the one on the thermostat. Very common problem on swaps. It's also common to improperly install the TPS, it can be a tricky procedure. I believe there are threads on that.
