Problem with tranny. HELP!!
i was revving about 5k rpm before shifting and didnt push my clutch pedal in all the way i got a grinding sound but i didnt force it in. i slowed down and then put it into gear but when i pushed my clutch pedal in i felt some pulsating grinding noises underneath my foot. i am able to shift upwards without any problems. The problem now is that every time i push my clutch pedal all the way down i get a spinning whining sound from my transmission and it does not matter what gear i am in. I am thinking it could be eaither my throw out bearing or my transmission. could anyone hear possibly take a guess at what might be my problem. thanks.
I would say your throw out bearing as well. I would assume it's bad and hitting against your pressure plate.
Rip that sucker out and find out.
