Default Problem- Shuts Off While Driving

My uncle's 1999-2004 Odyssey has shut off a few times while driving. Lights and everything.
Could this be something to do with the ignition coil?
The dealer can't diagnose it because it is very infrequent.

Thanks for any input.

no its not a coil, more than likely its the ignition switch. The earlier models had alot of trouble with them. Im guessing its a 99 or 2000 model

1 thing that made my car shut off while driving was when the valve lash was set looser then what i had it originally for. my valve lash was supposed to be 7-9, but i did 5-7 to quiet down the engine noise. But car kept shutting off. Yet in your uncle's case, I doubt this would be the cause. Well, if you run out of all ideas u can always try retightening valvelash
