ok i jus recently change the bottem end on my gsr that was in my eg coupe got it all put back together fired it up and its idling really low and was fallin on her face for a while changed the timing and she idled fine but ran like **** and also vtec isnt kickin at all and we have no clue whats up with her anybody got an inkling of a clue where i should start oh and messed round for a bit got it runnin decent but then she threw a check engine light so we blinked it out and kept gettin 14 and 8

 

1)learn to speak like an educated being. if you're not an educated being, pay someone to work on your car.
2)when your car barely idles, trying to "kick" vtec is a horrible idea. **** on you.

code 8 is TDC sensor, check your distributor wiring
code 14 is the IACV, plug it in
