Problem Installing JDM gauge cluster
Hi all,
I had a 2001 Acura Integra GSR. recenty i wanted to change my gauge to a JDM integra type-r cluster. I got one from a used car parts store. when plug it into my car, it fit perfectly. but the problem is that the temperature, fuel guage , and the tachometer runs strangly. the temperature goes all the way up to HOT, the fuel guage doesn't move, and the tachometer comes down to zero every time i try signal. does anyone know why and how to fix it?

most likely you purchased a 96' spec jdm itr cluster which only works (properly) on 94-97 USDM integras.
the 98' spec jdm cluster works with 98-01 USDM integras.
but you can make your cluster work correctly if you carefully swap over the green film, from one to the other.
