yeah its a type r motor.

I checked the distributor the other day and it was pointed correctly. made sure the rotor was at #1 when at TDC.

As for explaining I don't really know what else to say. im hella confused. all plugs are showing spark when i removed them and tested the wires. all injectors were working when i tested with a stethoscope and measured the resistance. but when we pulled the head again only the first piston had signs of combustion. along with only the #1 cylinders spark plug.

We can tell since they are brand new pistions. I have no idea where to go from here. Thanks for the help so far.

any more ideas???

it doesn't throw in any codes at all.

it has the APEXi computer...but we tried swapping it for the stock one and it made no difference and still threw no codes.
