Has anyone played around with positive pressures in the exhaust system??

I'm trying to hunt down a problem with my car laying over in 4th gear. I think that a baffle may have dropped so I'm gonna run some checks with a pressure guage.

How many psi would be too many on a B16 with a 2 1/2 mandrel system with one no name muffler?

Any advice appreciated....
