my friend and i will be trying to put a b20a5 into his integra in about a week, once i move into a house and have a garage available. i'll let you know how it works out.

The basic problem here is that these motors bolt in completely differently from the newer, more familiar B-series motors we all know and love. Basically, the old B20A and B21A will not bolt right into ANYTHING other than a 1988-1991 Prelude. And no, a Hasport kit will not work. We're talking complete custom fabrication here. And let's face it, this would be ALOT of work and risk (of messing up your car, that is) to go through to drop in such a mediocre motor. The bottom line: go with something that you can at least bolt in. And if you are going to hack up your car for ANY kind of swap, at least drop in something worthwhile.

i have to say that I agree the B20A5 is only good if kept in the prelude and even then it is sketchy. something that Honda hides behind the shades when every talked about. I know i have a B20A5 in a 89 prelude SI that I have been trying to sell. so if you know anyone who needs parts ...
