Default PR4 Vtec ecu for b18a1

Quick question.
Will a pr4 (VTEC) obd1 ecu work for a 1992 b18a1 swap into a 1990 honda civic hatchback (with obd0 to obd1 conversion)?

It will throw codes. But a 1992 civic should already be obd1.

Its a 1990 civic, but a 92 b18a1 (which is obd1).

Is there a better ecu to use?

He said it was using for a b16a, and it "popped" (engaged vtec) at 4500 RPMs. Apparently it was chipped for no rev limit

If its an ls ecu, vtec is only looked for on the chip. cut the jumper for the chip and run it factory.

lol what he said^
