Default Power Steering Pullys

I recently swapped a b16a1 in my 98 integra ls. I have to use the ls power steering pump, with the b16 braket. Doing this places the bump about 1inch over so it does not line up with the crank pully. Im pretty sure i can find a way to make this work regardless. But my main quesiton is

Having them the pullys not line up, will this cause any harm to the powersteering system?

thanks

it will prolly make the belt jump the pully and wear the belt verry fast

Does it line up with anything on the crank pully. I think on the older engines it used a v-belt for the power steering.

yeah they do use the vbelt... but im still using the ls power steering pump. I guess i could take the pully off the b16a1 pump and put it on my ls power steering pump. Which i have already tried but the vbelt i have is too short. I will try to get a longer belt.

yeah the only problem ive encountered is the way the pullys connect to the pump. The ls pully has little spline (like gears) while the b16 (vbelt pully) does not. I will try to get some pictures when i get back for christmas break.

I was thinking of getting a different crankshaft pully but I spent lots of money balancing it so why mess with a balanced setup. I think i'll just loop my rack and leave it at that.
