Default Power gains

What kind of gains would you be looking at if you put i/h/e on a sohc 96 civic? Let's say injen/dc/tanabe.

THat's probably close to the peak HP gain you will see. Remember though, the part's gains don't necessarily add up. Say(for the sake of argument) the intake gives you a peak HP gain of 6 HP at 5500 RPM, the header gives you a peak HP gain of 3 HP at 6500 RPM and the exhaust gives you a peak HP gain of 2 HP at 5000 RPM. You can't add 6+3+2 to get 11 HP, because they are at different RPMs. What is more important is what it does to your torque/HP curves. It's funny when people think OK the header is 5 HP, the intake is 10 HP, the exhaust is 5 HP, the cams are 15 HP so I must have 40 more HP.

then again 10 hp can mean the race between two hondas (Given they both have decent drivers)

Ha HA you will feel faster from the sound but it wont do much. You need some serious Sh*t to make a sohc civic respectably fast.
