im having trouble getting my car to run, it starts fine then cuts out straight away

i followed the 3 click test and i get all 3 but strangly imediatly after the 3rd click i get a 4th click as tho its clicking on then imediatly off
can anyone help me it driving me mad trying to get the car running
its a 99 em1 if thats any help

 

why dont you get a new main relay and try that.
check the big fuses and other relays
any cels?

 

dont wanna go buying parts if they aint needed
no fault codes and no blown fueses

 

thats why these problems come up. sounds like you dont do maintnence.

 

are you thick?
replacing parts that aint broke isnt maintenace and if the relay aint broke why would i change it? hell should i just randomly replace everything on the car and hope i get lucky and fix the right thing
ive just spent £55 on oil which in $'s is $90 just for oil
now does anyone with a brain hava any idea's

try using someones know good relay in your car. if it starts, its the relay. simple.
