Possible Input shaft bearing problem?
what kind of noise does a bad ISB make?
well, on my teg, i hear this bird like chirping noise when its idling. When i put very little pressure on my clutch pedal, it goes away. When i take my foot off the clutch the noise comes back a few seconds later. car drives fine and there isnt any sort of rumbling noises.
i asked my cousin who is a mechanic and he thought it was a old belt causing the noise, but i didnt tell him it goes away when i press the clutch. is there any belts for the tranny?

No, there is not.
Bird-like chirping is most definitely some bearing, but not an ISB. It's more of a muffled growling. Have you checked your pulleys? Put a stethoscope on them before you go tearing your tranny off there.

thats good to hear, but why would the bird like chirping noise go away when i put a little pressure on the clutch?

throw out bearing
I had the exact same noise and symptoms. Very light pressure on the clutch would make the noise go away. I dropped the transmission and found the throwout bearing races to be loose. Replaced the throwout and clutch (while I was there). Left the pilot bearing alone. Noise has been gone for 40,000 miles now.
