Default possible bad gas and additives?

so my car has been sitting for almost 1.5 yrs now and it has half a tank of gas left since it last ran with the D16. I just swapped the B16 in and I'm a little worried to fire it up. Some ppl say that condensation could have happened at the top of the gas tank then fell and started rust. Others say my gas may have turned into sludge and won't start. I just did some research and that gas starts to deposits/varnish and loses it's volatility.

Ok now what I'm wanting to know is what is this "Dry gas" additive stuff that I keep on hearing about and if I should use this before I start up my car?

anything else you guys would recommend other then draining the gas tank and filling it back up with premium?

If your car has been sitting that long, the safest thing you could do would be to drain the gas tank. Fuel additives like Sta-bil and etc might work, but should of been used before the car was put in storage.
