PLX M300 wiring question

PLX M300 wiring question
I am running a JRSC 96 GSR with a Hondata obd2 socketed p28. I only intend to use the wideband sensor. What is the best pinfit to tap into for the white wire? I have been told to use the ELD input. Will disableing the real ELD input cause any problems with idle or voltage regulation? Could I keep the ELD and wire the white wire to the primary o2 input? I understand there is a pull down menu in the s300 where you can choose the ELD as an input. Is the primary o2 input in that menu too? Thanks
