Pls help, why are my fuel injectors diff?????
well i was hoping that my swap will be done today
but my mechanic said he ran into another prob
anyway, i have a 95 civic with ex wiring. i took out the d16z6 and replaced it with a jdm b16 2nd gen. he said that the fuel injector conectors would not plug in to the ones from the b16. he then tried using the injectors from the d16, but those are a bit small. im not there to actually see the prob or take some pics for reference. but he said that he can try and trim/sand/ or snip away the outside of the injector to make the connector fit. is this something that some of u have ran into? plz tell me your opinions because i wanna be done with my swap.

hey try splicing them suckers and solder them back together...then use tight srink tubes!! works with my setup!! and it's a lot easier!!
hmm...i should make myself more clear...you can only do this if the b16 injectors came with the plugs. if not try finding them or you can also solder the wirings right into the connectors behind the injectors. these are just plain and simple ways of doing it without consuming $$$$$ and time!!
hey thanx for the reply. ill have to wait and see just how he did it. if not ill try and see if i can make it look a bit better.
like i told ya....you're gonna have to modify your injectors to fit as well...splicing and soldering isn't that difficult.
