They look real good, are the threads blued 2-3 threads up? That would indicate the correct heat range. If your looking for power, back off the timing a degree or two. Otherwise, they look real good.

Too much timing will start the burn too early, and can result in knock/ping. Honda's have really high advance right off the bat. (my 91 DX has 18 degrees, I had to retard 4 degree's so it wont ping, old engine, no other issues) It's really good for fuel economy, not so much for power. Timing is added in a few select situations, but most of the time it is removed as knock is more severe with engines that make a decent amount of power.

oh yeah i understand that but im not running super advanced timing ... this is just in a daily car so no worries... i was just curious about your comment ha... thanks
