But we all had to start sometime right? So I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and I'll go learn more about cars if you go back to 2nd grade and learn how to spell. okay? deal.
Anyway if anyone else out there REALLY wants to try and help me out, that'd be awesome. Thanks. Or as this guy above me would say "It'd be wack yo if no b0dy helps me out on diz thing dog. I know only teh real playa's will help me out ... yo"

What I was trying to say is adding neon lights to the interior of your car is pointless. Not only do they make you look like some type of fast and the furious stunna but they also can get you in trouble with your local law enforcement.
But if you must this is what you do, unscrew the bottom of the cigarette lighter plug and pull it apart. There will be two wires going to two parts. The wire going to the center piece is the positive wire, mark this. The wire going to the sides of the plug is the ground. Now what you do is put the light where you want it and find some where to attach that ground wire. Anywhere that something bolts on to metal like the frame will work. Now you have to find a source for your +12v, you have two options. If you want to do it really half assed you can run it to your fuse box, pull out a fuse, wrap the wire around one of the fuse legs and shove it back in there. Or you can find any other +12v wire and splice into it. A good one to do would be your cigarette lighter. If you really want to get "trick" you can splice it on to your radios +12v wire so then the lights would be on when ever your key is in the on position and off when you car turns off.
If you really want to look cool DONT use neons. Search google for cold cathodes, they are way brighter and light up a lot larger area. Plus the tube diameter is about 1/3 the size of neon so you can do much more stealth installs. And sadly I know this because the entire interior of my girlfriends Sebring is lit up by cold cathode black lights all in stealth mounts where they aren't visible during the day.

Okay, I have a few questions...
Between this post and my last post, I went out and got Street Glow 9" lights ... those are cold cathodes right?
When you say to attach it to the cig outlet won't that ruin that outlet so I can't use it anymore?

I believe street glow only deals with Neons. It wont kill your plug if you just splice into it, you can either get a crimp T or you can just put the three wire ends together and electrical tape.
