ok i am having major problems with my car. i put a new clutch in and wont start.. that is not all, there is more. also i disconnected the batt. a couple times trying t find out the problem then the last time i tried to reconnect it and it sparked a lot and the cables got very hot and smoked. i checked all of the fuses and even got a new ground cable for my batt. and it is still happening i really need to fix this and i have no idea of what it could be. i really need your help please any thing will help meh ya by the way it is a 94 teg LS

check the ground - the one that you disconnect from the tranny area.
