Default PLEASE HELP WITH A CAR PROBLEM!!!!!

I HAVE A 94 HONDA CIVIC HATCH WIT LS SWAP. IT IS REALLY HARD SHIFT IN ANY GEAR EVEN REVERSE. AT FIRST I TAUGHT IT WAS THE CLUTH BUT IF MY CLUTH IS GONE IT WOULD GRIND RIGHT??? WELL IT DOES NOT GRIND AT ALL BUT SOMETIMES I CANT EVEN GET IT IN ANY GEAR AT ALL. AN WHEN I DO GET IT IN FIRST GEAR THE CAR WANTS TO QUIT ON ME EVEN THOUGH I HAVE THE CLUTH PETAL TO THE FLOOR???? WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM??? ITS NOT THE CLUTH FLUID... IS IT MY CLUTH, PRESSURE PLATE, CLUTH CABLE STRECHED OUT????? THANKS FOR ANY HELP

If you have fluid for your clutch, than you don't have a clutch cable. But it sounds like you need to adjust your clutch. From what your saying, it acts like you dont have enough clutch. I don't know how to adjust a hydraulic/slave assisted clutch. Maybe your clutch disk is worn and needs replaced. Good luck!

it is a clutch problem the only thing that can be adjusted is the pedal play. sounds like a disk has lost a dampner or spring.
