but that didnt do anything, then i noticed that the pcv hose had a hole in it and that the pcv valve was covered in tape so I bought new ones and replaced them but the car wouldnt even idle, I opened the idle control on the throtle body which allowed the car to idle but it idles REALLY sluggish, I checked the cold air intake but there is nothing obstructing air from getting in but yet it feels as if the engine isnt receiving enough air. I put the old PVC and hose back on and it idles good when it's hot but when I barely turn it on in the morning, It turns off on me whenever I hit a stop. Might it be the timing?

I cheked the timing and it's right on so that couldnt be it...

I replaced the intake manifold gasket but that didnt solve the problem either.
It sounds like if I had aftermarket cams in it or something.
