Ok so I have a few problems with my 92 civic si HB. To start off i burn oil... either that or it leaks and lands on the header... is this most likely a gasket? or is it something different.
Also sometimes my idle will fluctuate like go up and down when im not moving ive seen this b4 but not exactly sure wat it is.. some one also told me he thinks my idle is low if that has anything to do w/ it..
My engine light also kicks on when i drive for long periods of time....
I also think my vtec kicks off because it seems to have no pick up in 5th after 80... if i drop it to 4th it will go faster but not as fast as it should also it sounds alot louder when the light comes on...

CAN SOME ONE PLEASE HELP ME...
edit: ok i searched about the idle problem and am gonna try some things however any input will be greatly apreciated
