Please help~! Injectors?
90 Civic Lx.......Dual point FI....Stock
Pulling code 16......injectors
Checked resistance on injectors....gives the right amount of ohms based on my haynes/chiltons....checked voltage to injectors with it on "on position", dunno if that did anything......but it read 8-9v
It has fuel im pretty sure...I took out the injectors and fuel was chillin in there...
Has spark, so I dont thinkk anything else is wrong
I just replaced the alt........but the only wierd thing is that I had no problems with the injectors whatsoever before.....but then it goes bad after it sits there for 3hours at work
Ive takin out the clips, and just put the connectors directly on the injectotrs.....seemed like it was a somewhat loose fit......
And Ive tried to check all other connectons....all seemd fine
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance

Need more info...
Steady CEL, or stored code?
Engine run OK otherwise?
Code 16 is a break in the electrical circuit path for the injectors. This path includes ignition switch and main relay.

I didnt wanna waste money on injectors if it wasnt the injectors.....
I tried the resistance of the injectors and it was fine, so i figured it was the wiring elsewhere....
Ive reset the ecu often......no codes and then I try to crank it......then 16 comes up everytime.....and it doesnt turn over......but it did before
So I see a short in the wire as a high chance......I guess I can just try to follow the wiring everywhere......

Actually, it would be an open circuit, not a short. The ECU completes the circuit to ground for each injector to pulse it.

Do you think that it could pull a code for injectors if its not getting fuel supply?
Im not sure how quiet an oem pump is....I know my aftermarket one in my other car is hella loud...
But Im not getting fuel at all anymore......maybe my pump/filter/wiring to pump? could be bad now

The ECU, during code 16, has no clue and doesn't care about fuel or lack of to the injectors.
Check your main relay. You can remove the cover and resolder the joints first if you don't want to buy a new one. This usually corrects the main relay problems.
