Weird topic but I've seen on the news; some dudes got their car crushed for street racing in California. Sad but funny

 

Cars get crushed or confiscated for illegal street racing in some places in US and Canada. Some places (principally California) restrict the year of the engine that can be installed in a vehicle to the model year of the vehicle or newer. Emissions regulations vary in severity from jurisdiction to jurisdiction - though many also have an exclusion for older vehicles.

 

Everything you do in CA is illegal.

 

cops where Im at rather sell or auction off cars than crush them. I have also never needed to past a test of any sort for my cars.
