I have a pivot tach but it has no diagram with it for the wires the colors are

White
Black
Red
Orage
Yellow

what do those colors go to? the 2 we are having a problem figuring out are the yellow and orange, the white is ill, black is ground, and red is power, but what are hte other 2? need help plz!!!!! thanks

 

my guess would be;
black = ground
red = power
white = blue wire on distrib
the other two would be for either v6 or v8

well that might work except that i don't see anywhere for them to loop back around to like an autometer does if it is like an autometer than

black ground
red power
green tach sig
white ill

but there is no green wire, only a yellow and orange dont know if the thing is indeglo don't even know how we aquired the tach it was just up on the wall and i wanted to put it in something to see if it worked. I know some one has put these in before help a brotha out y0!

i can't find any scamatics anywhere on this things i have seen these sold a few times on HT i know someone has had one and hooked up in a car help me out plz.

 

i have the same problem.. is this the digi-tacho-lamp one?
with the digitial tach?

I have emailed pivot usa for instrux, no word back though
