Piston to wall tolerance?
piston-wall clearance .0006-.0014"
is it true that with a looser piston to wall clearance there is more wear on the wall and rings?
I heard it was a common thing with FORGED pistons that are low silicone and that do expand a lot when the temp goes up that is why they HAVE TO run a looser piston-to-wall clearance.
please educate me on this.... even though sorta off topic

That piston-to-cylinder wall clearance isn't too snug for factory pistons. It's what the manual specifies.
Ring end gaps:
Top: .008" - .014"
2nd: .016" - .022"
Oil: .008" - .020"

Forged pistons swell when they get hot. OEM pistions don't as much so with OEM slugs you can run tighter piston to cyl wall clearance without the piston seizing.
ADDED: Also a bigger piston say 84mm will require larger piston to cyl. wall clearance than 81mm.
