Piston and Rod Combo?

Piston and Rod Combo?
I have a B17A1 and I want to build the bottom end cause the stock rods blow. I want to get Eagle rods and Civic Type R pistons, Will this combonation work? I had someone tell me a while back that it wouldnt. I just wanted to get another opinion.
