Default piston ring installation ?

i posted this in the all motor forum as well but havent got any help regarding this... here ya go... im in the process of building my b16... im planning on running overbore ctr pistons with oem rings... i have heard that you can place the rings 180 degrees apart from each other to prevent blowby... has anyone done this and what results have you got?... are there any advantages/disadvantages over the oem placement?... thanks

oem calls for about 90 degrees between the top compression and 2nd compression ring... then the top oil ring is about 180 degrees from the 2nd compression ring... then the spacer ring is 15 degrees from the top oil ring and the bottom oil ring is 15 degrees from the spacer ring... what im saying is every ring being 180 degrees off from the one above it

I always put them on 180 rotated, that's the way I was taught when I was 12 years old.
