Default Piston Question....
Ok i have some used JE 9:1 pistons but the machine shop said where the ring sits is too tight. So the ring does not move around freely. Is there a method to open it up? He said it feels like carbon build up or something. He glass beaded it or something and they are still alittle tight. Any thoughts?

Sounds like you either have the wrong rings or the ring lands got so hot that they are collapsing.
