piston
.
No! Not because it is JDM. What better than to use the products of the one who make the machine. I also heard so stories about some of the commpanies that make piston. Some of them do not handle well under high boost
Why Japan?
because its jdm yoo

Why Japan?
Hey I never said better. Well I really have not done much research with arias but I talk to some of the really fast civc drivers and some of the techs and they say that JE pistons are good but not under such high boost. Some racers use them, but for me an every day driver running high boost . I want to make sure what I put in is going to be extremely reliable.

Why Japan?
Because the japanese have been able to produce more power out of there motors than what we get. Look at this high revving crazy machine that they brought to us. A 4cyl. V8 eater so why not

I wont even waste my time on that...
Buy some damn JE's or Arias pistons and quit worrying about the JDM overrated bullshit..
If you want the most reliable setup possible, look at some factory over bored Honda pistons: they're fairly inexpensive and should provide solid longevity. But JE and Wiseco are pretty much the best IMO, no matter what the application... Each company makes pistons for dozens of different applications. And btw, it’s not which piston s strongest; its more about how your motor is tuned and how it's built. I’ve heard about factory b16a blocks running reliably with 15lbs of boost under the right conditions..

Well guys thanks for the help I will look more into the companies that you mentioned but sometimes the over priced , over rated things are just the best way to. Japanese know how to build there cars. For instant like the TT Toyota supra, the Nissan Skyline, the RX7( go figure a little 1.3L making 700+ hp), and the Acura NSX only some of many of there insane cars. I think these cars speak fo themself. I do not think that anyone can complain about that. JDM might be over rated but sometimes the best way to go.
you can get a nice package from endyn, theoldone.com you get eagle rods(600+hp) and wisco made pistons, with i think its nippon rings for like 800. they sell alot of different compressions/Bore. thats what i have in my bored b16a
Goody.. Listen to the writers of Import Tuner-- the biggest book of import blasphemy. Sounds great! Yeah, Asian engineers have always been smarter than Americans, huh? Kinda like how the Z06 Corvette was REALLY designed by someone in the Japan? Golly, we're uncovering something here...
Why don't you look inside some of the successful top drag Honda motors? I suppose w/ your unbreakable assumptions, it'd be easy to undermine someone making 300+WHP out of a dinky inline 4.
