alright i have a b16a1 in my car and i was wondering, if any one had pics to show me where i identafy my tranny, i need to know if i have the b16 tranny?

bump please i need to know where to find the code to tell me if i got the right tranny!

 

there is a gold or silver tag on it and it should say lik s1,ys1 or something like that

S1 is usually a B16A transmission. the S1 and J1 trannys have the best gearing from the 1st B16's....equivilent to that of a YS1 cable transmission (2nd gen b16 cable tranny).

alright so i got a s1 tranny! i need to replace my cv joint axle cause its clicking bad! now which one do i buy to replace it with... do i get one out of a sir civic, or do i get one out of a integra since my tranny is a s1? some one please help im wanting to replace this but saturday!

Look into 90-93 integra axles for CV parts..

 

so which replacement axle should i get, do i go to the part store and say that i need a 90-93 integra axle and that is it

being that your B16 axles are a custom length, you need to use 90-93 integra axles for replacement parts on your B16 axles.
