Default Performance Wise between 4Dr Vs 2Dr Da

I have a 4Dr Integra that I am going to rebuild and plan to make the most 450whp. But I have a concern to be addressed...Comparing a 4Dr and a 2Dr Integra, would my 4Dr be able to keep up or be as fast as the 2Dr Integras that everyone has even if both the cars have the same hp and torque? I understand that 4Drs have more weight and length. But If I lightened my 4dr Integra would I be able to keep up with a 2Dr Integra that has the same amount of hp and torque as I do? Is a really big concern of mine because everyone has a 2dr DA and I'm trying to be unique but also fast as well. Please share me your input.

if u gut yours, ull still be heavier then if the other 2 drs gutt theirs. if its exactly same motor for motor, then ull still lose, but usually its bout how the motors are built and mods and how well u drive

Even if I rebuild the motor completely and bolt on a turbo setup and get it tuned, I'll still be beaten by the 2dr? If so, is there any way that I can run more better than the 2dr by any means? More boost? More hp? Nitrous? Only because everyone told me that I can't beat a 2dr with my 4dr and I want to prove them wrong. Any help or opinion would help? Thanx for your advice thou.

Chassis is stiffer the 4 door, if you like the twisties. If they are fully gutted then take it a step further and start cutting.

u are on a different page

i have a 4dr civic and i smoke 2dr civics all day , just depends what kinda cars i race
if you off set your power and have more then they do and have a better set up, u will always win, its not bout doors or weight, its bout the set up, ucan have 450hp and the car next to u can have 300, if you cant put that to the ground and they can, then surely you will get beat

ive seen 300 hp turbo cars run mid 11s and some 600 hp cars only run 12s, its just how you set up your car, what transmission and your gearing. if you want to be able to put all the power u intend to the ground, get a good LSD and get good gearing for your transmission

This is exactly what I love about Honda-Tech.com compared to Team-Integra.Net...I've asked the same question on Team-Integra.Net and all I got was rude answers by a Site Administrator. As he should of known that I am a rookie and just have questions. I do not ask stupid questions on everyday. His username is JustinKlemgold. There are the cool helpful Acura and Honda fanatics and then there are guys like him with permenant pms being as nice I will put it. Thank you for all your help guys. I appreciate the input. I do understand that this was a dumb and pointless topic but I had to ask. Don't hurt to ask and I say thank you again.
