I am a business minded person and as a result, I constantly critique the customer service of all of my encounters. I was recently given a business card by a company named Performance West whom are based out of Santa Rosa, Ca. I was shopping at Kragens when a girl asked me if the crx in the parking lot was mine. I explained it was and we began talking cars. She told me her boyfriend owned a shop and I should check it out if I ever needed work done. I'm thinking yeah right I'm never taking my car to a shop for work, I'm a do it yourselfer!

Fast forward two weeks later after a recent clutch install and I'm sitting in a parking lot with a slipping clutch and no clue as to why (brand new clutch!). I remember the business card in my ash tray from Performance West so I give them a call. I speak with the owner Mike, and he says "hell I'll come check it out, I need a break from this project anyways!" We'll ****, I'm surprised that hes willing to come out and lend a hand! He shows up in about 10 minutes and we come to the conclusion that my clutch adjustment/cmc is the culprit. We bs a bit, I say thanks and he leaves so I can arrange a tow from AAA. The next day I wrap up the repairs and all seems to be well!

In conclusion, I have never experienced such committed customer service and willingness to go out of ones way to help a NON-customer, that's right I payed nothing for his service! As a thanks to Mike and his shop, I think he deserves a good write up and a good recommendation. Anyone is the Santa Rosa/ Sonoma County area should check this guy out!
