i rather work on the speed cuz even though your car looks nice when you actually race you would get imbarrased by losing by alot..so looks aint all that..juss my opinion

 

why look fast if you cant back it up? at most get rims and a lip at first. then motor. then the rest. thats just me though

i think when a car is really fast and what not... it just somehow also looks good too. take the skyline for instance... aerodynamic and the r34 turns me on more then britney spears. i'd choose a night with a skyline over britney any day..

 

First of all, why ask a stupid question, what you do to your car doesn't affect me or another person, just you, so ultimately do what you like.

 

Depends what the car initially looks like and how fast it initially is in my opinion.

It depends on your priorities but i'm solidly in line with Katman.

Just don't be a poseur whatever you do. Whichever you choose, do it with integrity i.e., if you persue looks over performance do it right, not some bondo queen with a cheap paint job.

get everything under the hood completely put together, everything that haas to be cut or welded, get that done, size everything up get it how it needs to be and then take it all out, get the car painted real nice, then when you put all the stuff back in, your less likely to scratch the paint cause everything that can damage it has already been done.

Why not just keep everything looking nice by doing clean installs and doing the installs right?

Most cars look nice when the installs of performace stuff is not half-assed. I personally love "sleepers". The closer to stock it looks, the better.

i could care less what my car looks like, i just want it to outperform any car it comes up against. actually, i'm a really BIG fan of cars that look like $h*t on the outside but have an engine straight from hell underneath the hood. it's that whole 'wolf in sheeps clothing' thing. once the performance has reached a plateau and theres not much else that can be done, than, and only then, would i start sinking money into the looks. if at all.

thats my opinion. and you know what they say about opinions....

Once your running 12's Kick a few dents in it... get some rust, cover it in water and hook a battery charger up to the door and quarter panels, it should only take an hour or so. take sandpaper to it to get that paint off.
put a few holes in the windows ditch the rims, get some ugly K-mart hubcaps or none at all. Now THAT, is a real mans car

I go for simple looks first to satisfy my taste of not having "just another integra on the road" ( lower, maybe rims, lip and painted sides) Then the rest of my money goes under the hood, good set of tires, and safe suspension. But that is just my opinion..................

I dont fix my car up for attention or an image, but simple self satisfaction.

Most people who put in swaps and other crap dont even go to a track to race. Or dont bet any money, if you cant make money with it why bother.
Than the look is good, heads turn, panties get moist, car gets stolen or broken into. Crap either way you go, you better know what youre getting yourself into.
