Hello folks... i drive a 94 HONDA ACCORD DX 4 DOOR AUTO and I was trying to find out if there are any options as far as the transmission goes. I drive quite far and I have the means to do the manual transmission swap but I do not want to because i prefer to just cruise. I traded in my old car to get my wife something because of the baby. Now im stuck driving this thing. it cant even catch a ford taurus with me rowing the auto gears. Where i work we deal in diesel injection. we sell injectors, injection pumps and turbos for diesels and install them also. we sell injectors and goodies for cars too. i was looking at turboing the accord nothing too wild. 6-8psi. i just want to be able to pass if i so choose.im not looking to break into the 12s... all i want is about the same pick up as my olds, without the rowing of the gears. I test drive all day long... rowing gears gets old at the end of the day. So i was wondering if any of you guys have heard of a honda tranny builder or overhaul kit that will handle the horsepower reliably? I ll handle the tuning and shift points later. I just want to be able to floor it and not worry about the thing blowing up.
